When I did this recently I had to use a check in counter - couldn't use the kiosk until I think 3 (maybe 4) hours before the flight. A quick google suggests there are varied answers for bag drop.. some say 6-7 hours like the previous poster. I think I checked in about 5-6 hours early m yself...
