What to do with 68,000 points?

Thanks! Kuching could be interesting. The Doubletree in Penang hadn't opened yet when I was late there.

    Domestic 75% / 50% / 25% SC bonus - Targeted Offer

De nada here which is a pity because it would be very welcome right about now as I have some work trips on the cards in the coming months.

What to do with 68,000 points?

Hi everyone, Thank you for your advice. My partner has decided she would like to go to NZ for a long weekend to see the snow. Could you recommend any ideas on how best to do this? Am I correct in assuming it would be Queenstown? Thanks in advance Wanderlust_tim

Upcoming trip to Taipei – Advice welcome on things to do, transport, food and accommodation options

My favourite destination to travel to and one of the few places overseas where I thought to myself 'i could live here'. There's been a lot of great suggestions so far, to build on some of them: The Maokong Gondola is shut on Mondays from memory. The tea plantations are lovely, as is the temple...

    Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong

Perhaps a new thread might be a good place to discuss? There's quite a few of us on here who would love to do a trip throughout the region. I think it could be an invaluable resource.

    Shortest RPT Flight Flown

STR-FRA at 88NM. Upon boarding we were given a water bottle and bag of nuts because there was no time for service. I think that boarding took longer than the flight. I was also on a Hazelton or REX flight in the early 2000's that was doing multiple stops in the central west of NSW. Orange to...

    Jetstar flying to Seoul

Sad to see it go, but the smart decision. I reckon this will be a popular route. Will open up the ski resorts in South Korea too over winter.

    Travel to 2020 Tokyo Olympics

Or look at flying into secondary cities as opposed to straight into Tokyo. For Euro 2012 i had tickets to a match in Wroclaw. Flights from London were about $600 return, flights from Bournemouth, 2 hours on the train away were $100 return.

    Travel to 2020 Tokyo Olympics

@nlagalle - You have a very interesting job and I imagine have some very interesting stories as well. Given your experiences (and i apologise if you have posted this elsewhere) i was wondering if you have any insights into the Olympics and attending the Olympics that you have observed that are...

    Boston in 2017

I would say go for it. Boston are the reigning champs but have struggled this year. The Orioles aren't great but the thing with a 162 game season is that any team can perform on the day. The absolute worst teams will win 1 in 3 games. I actually prefer to sit behind the pitcher, you are a long...

What to do with 68,000 points?

Hi all, I used to travel internationally and stayed with Hilton. The time has flown and I woke up this morning to an email saying I had until October to use 68,000 points. I am based in Melbourne, is there anything in particular that would be recommended to use these points on? I am open to a...

    Sydney via Canberra

We visited last weekend and loved it. Particularly the work section and subsequently the landscapes behind it. I would love to see modern interpretations of each place, particularly the landscapes in the Middle East.

    Boston in 2017

If you are there in Baseball season and like your sports then I recommend a visit to Fenway Park. If you can't get tickets, then Bleacher Bar is a great experience. It is outside the ground (underneath the bleachers) and there is a massive window that looks out onto the field. It was a great...

I need some inspiration for a trip next year, any suggestions?

Iran was lovely in April, but will cause issues if you fancy US trips down the track. Oman, Azerbaijan, Egypt and the UAE were great at this time too. I would always recommend Georgia. For places I haven't been, La Reunion has always been high on my list. You could combine it one of Seychelles...
