QFF Card I can use for business expenses?

The first one is linked... "Earn 1 Qantas Frequent Flyer point per $1 spent on eligible purchases (automatically transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts each month). A $49 annual Citibank Qantas Rewards fee applies2" But yeah it does cost a bit more. I'm not entirely sure of use for...

    Understanding [Fare Buckets] Expert Flyer

I was looking up a flight for 15th December on EF, for SYD-BKK to see the loadings on Y and J, just to see whether chances for upgrades were good or not and just wanted to check a few things with the (much) more experienced members on this forum. The seat availability shows J9 C9 D8 I3 Y1 B0 H0...

Not receiving Silver Pack when you go to Gold too quickly

Thanks guys! Looks like Qantas is being very inconsistent then...I still have no Silver pack in the mail and every call is "it's an automated system that we can't control". I wonder how they resend packs which have been lost in the mail for instance. I had six days between Silver and Gold as well.

Not receiving Silver Pack when you go to Gold too quickly

So I called back this afternoon...and same answer! I even asked to see if I could speak to anyone who would be able to..and they outright said no. I do think it's a bit odd seeing that I did reach that level and held it for a week. You should be eligible for those benefits... Reckon an email...

Not receiving Silver Pack when you go to Gold too quickly

Just did call them...they said there is no way to send it because it's all automated! A bit frustrating really...

Not receiving Silver Pack when you go to Gold too quickly

Hi guys, was just wondering whether anyone else has experienced this? I recently went on a status run and spent a week as Silver, before hitting Gold. I got my Gold pack sent in the mail last week, but haven't received the Silver pack. I called up and they said because I went to Gold from Silver...

    Hilton Sydney

I don't know personally, but I recall reading another thread where a forum member said that it had the same food, but it's just "in the corridor/foyer outside the conference rooms". I think it might have been in the hotels subforum...

Here and there but mainly there.

OneNote is probably the best and easiest option. Install SkyDrive on your Surfaces' and also on your computers. Make a notebook in a dedicated folder which is within that SkyDrive..and then you can access that same synced info across all your devices. In SkyDrive, share the folder with a link...

    Opt out of CSM greeting??

Just wondering, CSM's only come to you if you're platinum yeah? Are Gold's treated any differently? Maybe Express Card or a drink?

Increased Baggage Allowance for QF Gold

Not sure whether this had already been mentioned, but I noticed today that those with Gold status now can take 2 x 32kg instead of the previous 2 x 23kg, domestically. So now it's equivalent to Platinum and better than QP. :) From the Qantas site when you try doing a booking... "For Gold...

    Overnight transfer in BNE

A JASA is a Business Any Seat Award - basically using points (+ cash if required/wanted) to purchase a business class seat. They are always available as long as their is normal fare availability, but most try to get the U fare tickets as they require significantly less points.

My first status run to Gold!

Also...is it possible to go from a red e-deal fare to a JASA without penalty? As I understand it..you're not actually "changing" the flight? :)

My first status run to Gold!

It is tempting! Maybe next year...the F Lounge access in SYD would be awesome for the overseas trips I have planned at the end of the year though... If I have checked baggage, will I still be able to change at the QP or would I do that before I did bag drop?

My first status run to Gold!

haha, yep, that did cross my mind! Got the double status credits promo..so would be just another 350 or so SCs. But don't have enough points nor the time before the membership year is over!

My first status run to Gold!

So after spending a fair bit of time on these forums learning and taking on the wisdom that others have passed around, I decided to go and do a status run next week to Gold! Have a JASA CBR-BNE-TSV-BNE-CBR booked (cash and points - $300 + 36,000, for a total of 200 SCs) and a MEL-CBR-MEL in Y...

    When Fully Flexible isn't

Thanks for that informative post anat0l. Yep received an e-ticket and there was no choice of fare type. Did you try doing it using a multi city booking. With the first leg AKL to MEL; and the second MEL to BKK. It'll then only display the fully flexible fare...which is around NZ$900. Can you see...

    When Fully Flexible isn't

I ended up completing a full refund as I didn't want to get into a hassle and the customer service agent sort of pressed me into doing so. Yep, every single segment was fully flexible, shown both when booking and on the Manage Your Bookings page (I've screenprinted everything). Yeah, I booked...
