3 Bonus Points per dollar with Citi Rewards

They transfer through at 10,000 points for every 15,000 points transferred - so 0.66 points / point. So a better conversion rate, but a higher initial transfer required.

3 Bonus Points per dollar with Citi Rewards

I'd guess JB's is feeling the effect of the Everyday Rewards card now being able to be used at DSE and needing to fight that. That being said, 3 bonus points is worth more in the Citibank Rewards program rather than the Altitude program, looking at the transfer rates.

3 Bonus Points per dollar with Citi Rewards

Just noticed at https://www.citibank.com.au/AUGCB/ICARD/apps/content_page/TilesView.do?page=ripper_content/discount_offer&tabId=cc,rewards,do that there's now 3 bonus points per dollar for the bonus partners. Some interesting partners on the list now, including JB Hi-Fi and the Intercontinental...

Amex just gave me 10,000 points

I received the call yesterday as well around lunch time. Checked this morning and sure enough 10,000 points had been added with the notation 'Customer Loyalty Bonus Points'. I've got the Platinum Credit Card and Gold Charge Card currently. Merry Christmas indeed! :D

Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

If the recipients get their gift in a pretty paper bag they can consider themselves lucky from me, otherwise it's whatever shopping bag's left in a pile in the kitchen cupboard. :P

Qantas FF and Woolworths create new loyalty alliance

If you take a look at the T&C's for the competition you can see it outlines what to expect every day - and it's basically going in the draw for WISH cards most days, one day with iPods, one day with TV, and a couple of days that just get you bonus entries in the major draw. Still, doesn't...

    China visa - price hike!

The Australian Embassy in Jakarta has been doing a similar thing for a couple of years now, all their visa processing has been outsourced to Australian Visa with Rp150,000 added on top (or around AU$20). Seems it's the way a lot of countries have gone to look at the list just for VFS Global .

Amex Platinum - no more free Travel+Leisure magazine

Those numbers don't surprise me that much, given it's only the personal cards that received the magazine, rather than anyone with a business or corporate platinum (which I'd guess makes up a larger percentage of cardholders). Keeping in mind even the Platinum Credit Card comes with a $395 per...

    QF128 HKG-SYD Delayed, AGAIN

Seems like Qantas isn't having much luck on the HKG run. I was on QF127 on the 19th of November and had the delight of a more than four hour delay, announced on a rolling basis. This was coupled with the plane eventually being substituted from a four class to a two class plane, so had the joy of...

    Changes to Hilton Premium Club

Details of the Macquarie Rewards program can be found at Macquarie Bank Rewards - not particuarly inspiring value for points and no loyalty program partners to transfer to either.

Air Asia Sale Fares Impossible to get???

It'd be the one way price from AUH-MEL via KUL, but looks correct to me. See pricing at Welcome to AirAsia.com...now everyone can fly... for details of the fares available.

Air Asia Sale Fares Impossible to get???

Managed to get myself some flights this morning in the sale - well 9 seats from CGK-MES return, so can't complain about that, less than $40 all up. On the down side, to coincide with the sale it appears that AirAsia has implemented a 'convienence fee' for pretty much every method of payment -...

Platinum CC Free Gold Charge Offer

Just checking on whether anyone has received their bonus points yet for this promo? I completed my first lot of ten $30+ transactions on the Gold Card over the weekend and no sign of the bonus points (though the transactions have appeared on my Membership Rewards transaction list). I guess I'll...

    Citi Rewards To Qantas

There's no need to be a business to apply for the Citibusiness Gold Card as far as I'm aware. Certainly I'm not a business and have no ABN - though I transferred across from the regular Gold Card a couple of years ago. There's no requirements listed on the Citibank website requiring this either...

New Bonus points partners until 31/3/2010

I just noticed that there's new bonus points partners available at the moment if you go to Earn Bonus Rewards Points - American Express Australia. Interesting to see 2 bonus points per dollar on AirAsia.com purchases and 3 bonus points per dollar on V Australia purchases - except for those...

    Citi Rewards To Qantas

Keep in mind if you use the CitiBusiness Card you can still transfer to Qantas (in 10,000 point blocks anyway) and it's also possible to use points for any of the other items available as well.

Amex Platinum - no more free Travel+Leisure magazine

I'm one of those that actually enjoys it for a bit of a read (and I don't mind the ads either - so I guess I'm easily pleased :D). It's another small erosion of the benefits associated with the Platinum Credit Card though *sigh*.

Comm Bank to issue AMEX... changes to QF/Velocity point earning

Don't forget that Citibank also has an Emirates card that earns 1.5 points per dollar too. Certainly another option for those not particuarly tied to an airline.

Platinum CC Free Gold Charge Offer

My letter has the same text as that contained in serfty's and my reading of it is that it's a possible 25,000 bonus points too. Given some of the other comments made by customer service in the past on other promos I'd take what they have to say with a grain of salt. Like serfty says though...

Platinum Credit Card - 20,000 points sign-up bonus

Just noticed there's a sign-up bonus of 20,000 points available for the Citibank Platinum if you sign up at Citibank Australia - certainly worth a look for some people given the changes happening with pretty much every other card vendor at the moment anyway.
