Agree there are people who push the carry on limit, though I see this all the time on QF and VA mostly by business types. Not a reason to decrease limit to 7kg, just police the 10kg limit solved, or make the 7kg limit the main bag, that way people can still have their laptop or 2 bottles of wine.

7kg for a combined weight limit of main bag + small piece (eg. laptop, handbag, duty free shopping) is vey very strict.

The BKK CX Lounge is a combined J/F lounge, it makes the QF BKK lounge seem like luxury in comparison. No toilets, small & cramped.

Can confirm the above. I had a HKG-PEK(KA) F / PEK-LHR(BA) F booked via USDM 2 months ago, traveling this weekend. Yesterday I changed to direct CX253 HKG-LHR flight in F, $150 change fee offset by $253 refund in BA YA surcharges. It seems CX will release award seats approx 7 days out.

Agree, safer to ensure both US and operating carriers are correctly showing the flights. In the mean time check what your itinerary is on Saudi Arabian airlines website by entering your US e-ticket number.
