Australian Reports of the Virus Spread

No, Phase C starts as soon as we have 80% of 16+ double vaxed. Your interpretation of the plan would mean that the description of Phase C is redundant as it also starts at 80%.

    Australian state border restrictions

Dang.. I had marked that post and watched that space. Still 100% sure WA will be forced to open domestically pre-Xmas?

The COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Australia has begun

I know you're being facetious, but I understand this person is actually on track to "win a prize" in early November.. 🤔

    New Amex statement credits

Coincidentally, they got into the news today - Brisbane Easi food delivery driver claims he was fired for raising concerns about pay and safety

ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Possibly, but they only started up in March and have been offering premium for 3 months free to new users, so there won't be too many people who have been on the free tier to experience the 'intro free tier rate'.

ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Not just premium - I could have sworn the free tier had a Mastercard fee of under 1%+GST before.

Aus. Financial Review benefit gone. (Replaced with The Australian)

I don’t have an objection to The Australian per se - it’s just that is less value than the AFR subscription that concerns me. As someone mentioned, you can get the Australian for a year for $25(?) if you’re a student.

Aus. Financial Review benefit gone. (Replaced with The Australian)

That appears to be the same as their basic digital subscription, minus the "The Australian Plus" member benefits program. Granted, that program is a collection of competitions and fairly niche offers, but it's a bit rich of Amex to call it a "Premium" subscription benefit when it includes less...

Aus. Financial Review benefit gone. (Replaced with The Australian)

The (UK) Sun? :p EDIT: On a serious note, what does "premium subscription offer" mean? Just a fancy way of saying "the basic digital subscription", or could we be expecting the paper delivery option too? If anything, the paper is very good at helping start my fireplace :D

Qantas Premium Entry at Brisbane Domestic

I’m going to be using this tomorrow as a J passenger - will I be able to take my colleague (not J, not QP member) through this entrance? Or will they have to go to the normal line, and I can meet them later (after I have grabbed a coffee :p) at the lounge entrance to guest them in?

Payment Platforms - What are your thoughts?

One thing that came to my mind today - one of the things I liked about another payment platform was that it would tailor the transaction name to include the payee, so that each transaction that showed up on online banking would show: "PAYMENT_PLATFORM_NAME*PAYEE PAYEE_LOCATION" All of Yakpay's...

Payment Platforms - What are your thoughts?

A few ideas/questions, some of which might just be my own ignorance: 1. Options to link both QBR and Velocity to your Yak Pay account and select which program the points go to, on a payment-by-payment basis (I think I might have mentioned this one before) 2. Payroll integration - I'm not 100%...

ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

@Yak Pay | Payment Logic - I noticed on your site that you can now link to Qantas Business Rewards. I have a YP account currently linked to Velocity, will I need to totally unlink from Velocity to earn QBR points, or is it possible to add my Qantas account and select on a...

Maybe the title of this thread should be changed to State border closures NOT illegal under the highest law in the country

    RewardPay Alternatives

Interesting re the EFT transfer and wages payments, I guess it's an alternative to ABA payments from my bank's internet banking portal (they charge a fixed fee per transaction). Would payment using EFT transfer be faster? Currently my internet banking payments are either instant (if NPP) or by...

    RewardPay Alternatives

Hi James, I'm getting the attached error when I go to www.yakpay.com.au Thanks for looking into it! EDIT: I have been going through by clicking the "Continue to www.yakpay.com.au (unsafe)" link, but I am trying to avoid having to tell my partner and staff to ignore security errors for fear of...

I've been getting "certificate expired" errors on Yakpay for the last couple of weeks. Is this happening to anyone else?

State border closures illegal under the highest law in the country?

Looks like the expectations about the announcement were a bit overblown - border reopened with ACT, but border with NSW will remain "indefinitely". https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-09-15/coronavirus-australia-live-news-newmarch-quarantine-victoria/12662952
