If the cost is the same (or close enough), I'd take connections on the same ticket but stopovers on separate ones. Gives you the flexibility to change plans without potentially having QF mess up all of the remaining segments.

I'm ok with the pets in cabins - if they are clearly marked on the seat map. This way you can choose a seat that's close or farther away based on your own preference. Perhaps someone wants to sit next to that little poodle (and is others can steer far away).

There are many reasons to be vegan. I happily take vegan if that's an option and freely available. But that's because I minimise especially beef & dairy (and that alone reduces my methane footprint in addition to the body feeling a lot better). But I also happily fly when needed.
