Hello folks. I have a award seats to HKG on CX shortly, I'm concerned about the recent bulk cancellations there. Anyone know the rules/penalties for cancelling award bookings, in terms of cost in points and dollars (taxes etc), and what the window of opportunity to cancel might be? Many thanks.

Thanks @MEL_Traveller Not sure if I'm missing the point here, but I see largely the same there - a similar search leans toward MH but also caveats 'some flights might not be in business'. Once we drill in we find it's y per xkul lhr and then a J seat from lgw -mad on IB, fwiw. Am I doing it wrong?

I'm a bit over being shown results like PER-BNE-DOH-MAD **most of these flights will be in economy. Is there any means of searching for redemptions that allows me to specify no Y legs, no more than one connection, that kind of stuff? Cheers.

Hello folks. I'm looking to book some flights with EK next year for points. Flying ex PER I'm inclined to spring the extra points for F, but be happy enough in J for the DXB-Somewhere-In-Europe leg, and vice versa. I looked at booking the flights under separate itineraries, both risky and more...

In fact went for DPS xKUL LGK return in business for $480, which nets 200 SC, $2.40/sc. Plus a PER-DPS ret on JQ Max for another $480 which returns 100 SC. $3.20/sc overall. Could do better on the per-dps if more flexible with flight times.

I see DPS xKUL PEN return for about $480. Pretty much the same deal as SIN, but I'd sooner spend a couple of nights in Penang.

I'm in Perth, fancy a weekend in Bali. I've got a credit that needs used up from a canx QF last year, but the only options I'm offered to redeem are connecting in the East. Is there a way to book PER-DPS on JQ with a QF credit. Thanks for your knowledge :)

Hello all. I've an upcoming PER-MEL-PER for which I bought economy and got a points upgrade. I'm going to need to cancel, does anyone know if it's possible to recover the points? Understand I'll suffer a fee on the $ value, is there a 'best way' to go about this? Cheers, Alex
