Yes, I can understand your reasoning. I once did the CX midnight flight BNE- HKG. Was a shocker flight for rest and then a shocker of a day in the Plaza Lounge recovering prior to the connection to KTM. Coming back overnighted in HK and flew CX arriving back in BNE about 11pm. I don't think this is a thread hijack...I am just thinking ahead to a trip in December 2015. Obviously airfares aren't booked yet. When you declare a pre-existing condition and the premium rises astronomically, are you then covered for claims arising from that pre-existing condition?

On my most recent experience with a travel insurance claim(not with QBE), the advice was rather sparse and mainly directed me to submit a claim and see how it is assessed at that point.
