NSW has almost achieved that and Victoria is starting to achieve that as well. I think by the end of the month we could be able to achieve zero community transmissions that allows us to reopen the borders in time for the winter holidays.

From the sound of NZ side it seems unless we fully open up our internal borders again they are not going to reopen their borders to us. So I think your NZ trip may look a bit unlikely at this stage. :(
