Hi folks, I'm just wondering is anyone here knows how they decide which flights use what runways at SYD airport? I fly with DJ all the time to and from BNE, and it always seems to be the far runway with the longest taxi. Who gets to use the nearer runways? Is there some sort of pecking order...

Easy on there.. the truth is that the manifest shows everyone's preference to a dark cabin not, as well as status and ipad ownership of each passenger. Ipad ownership takes precedence over WP.

This is exactly my view on it. Nothing to do with ownership of windows or any of that lark. Just don't want a dark cabin in the middle of a lovely day. To me the flight just isn't long enough to justify preparing the whole cabin for sleeping anyway.

Yep, same issue is still here. As well as the handset being taped onto the holder with duct tape. That happened me last week, 8th Oct. I'll actually drop them a message now to advise them of the problem. I'm sure the more people tell them, the quicker they would address it.

That thought did cross my mind.. Had I known they were going to do that, I would have moved from 1A to 1C due to the ongoing IFE issue on that seat!
