In Syd and Mel I usually just show my QP card. I think it was the same at Gold Coast too. I can only ever remember having to produce my QP card and Boarding Pass at International QP's.

Wow, I must have gotten lucky because it was all ok when I checked in for the 6:50 ADL-SYD. A little off topic, ADL's QP was the first time in a long while where I was asked to show my boarding pass upon entry.
