How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

It is JohnK. It actually is heartbreaking and embarrassing what was once one of the worlds greatest airlines has fallen so far. I truly am saddened and angered by this. I sincerely hope that the refurbed A330's (if I ever get on one) and the A380's will be on par with the rest of the big airlines.

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Thank you for sympathising with me, as I'm sure enduring Dom US flying would have left you with many a grand story to tell. 1. Absolutely first world problems, which is why I didn't include 'And I'm a Platinum member in 1A, I should get feed first' in my rant :-) 2. QF have to realise...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

LOL, Surely you're not the only W@#$ P on here ? :p. You are correct, my abuse of capitalisation is a lazy way of expressing my thoughts, and point. Yelling doesn't get you anywhere (most of the time). P.S Thank you for the new headline.

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product THANK YOU!! I didn't know how to word that particular issue, with out really sounding like a W@#$ Platinum. For some reason, one this particular flight (which may be very valid) they were serving from the other side...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product LOL, Well, of course I would! I'd get lobster! And yes, I enjoyed TG J, FAR more than my QF J Long Haul experiences. In fact, include Garuda and LAN in that list too.

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product LOL, I'll take the Dom thanks :-) Unfortunately, Emirates do not give SC on all routes anymore, you still get the points, just not those important SC's Regarding the food, I got 6 chips with my nachos, and wasn't...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product Why, thank you Buzzard. EXACTLY! That was probably a far nicer way of wording it, I will try to work on my AFF lingo a bit more in the future. Coincidently, guess who owns Jetconnect???? QANTAS of course!

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product You are absolutely correct, and I should clarify. I have had amazing service from QANTAS staff, and then absolute shockers. Thank you for the advice regarding LM miles, I will look into it. The refurbished A330's...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product Firstly, Flame retardent suit on standby. I am and want to be a QANTAS supporter, hence WP, but they're making it hard. Secondly, I realise having a rant at 11:30 at night is not such a good idea, it might wake...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Re: How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a cosistanly poor product I just adore talking to people as literal as you, it's always so much fun. You've been on this site since 2009, surely by now you would know when sarcasm, simile's and analogy's are being used?? When, I was comparing...

How does qantas expect one to stay loyal with a consistently poor product

Enough is enough! As much as I would love to continue to be loyal to our national carrier and support Australian jobs and industry, I would be an absolute fool to do so. After flying QANTAS SYD to BKK 1A, J, I was shocked and angry that once again, a QANTAS business flight, was basically...

Bankwest Qantas Transaction account [being withdrawn in 2025]

Hmmmm, well maybe it's because it's my first transfer, not sure? 2 business days have passed now. However, I will trust your 3 years experience and patiently wait.

Heads up for anyone flying tomorrow. I know I won't be

Yes, I decided I would post pone all flights till next week. I had a feeling it would end up with me spending too much time in the lounge, which would inevitably end up in too much drinking.

Bankwest Qantas Transaction account [being withdrawn in 2025]

I have to say that this has been one roller coaster of a thread to read! So much information, so many times I jumped the fence on certain debates, and held back from joining in. However, now that I have just found out it its a 3 DAY transfer for Pay Anybody (me)! I'm starting to get on the...

Heads up for anyone flying tomorrow. I know I won't be

It really was awful listening to all the emergency sirens all night. I felt so bad every time I heard one (which were many). Didn't get to sleep till 4 am. Also watching peoples furniture and plants flying off their balcony's was a bit hairy, but what was really intense was watching the ferries...

Heads up for anyone flying tomorrow. I know I won't be

That wasn't just rain JK. It was Cyclone 2 winds in some areas. Sometimes it looked like the Harbour Bridge itself was moving!
