I am currently investigating having our children (19 & 17) join us in Europe during the April school holidays. One of my options is an evening flight to Perth, then a 6am flight to Dubai. This will be their first international flight without us, and neither them or I have been to Perth before...

I've been to Dubai twice, and my husband and I have different surnames. Didn't give it a second thought, and didn't have an issue.

I spend hours and hours planning each trip. I enjoy the process as much as the destination. I have so many places I want to go I seem have the next ten years mapped out for my paltry 4 weeks of annual holidays :-) I am always keeping an eye out for info on places I have pencilled in and keeping...

We did this tour in April. Not a bad way to waste a couple of hours - but I wouldn't go out of your way for this tour if you don't already have to spend the time in the airport. We went at around 1pm (can't remember the exact time) but that is not a recommended time as it is quite hot outside...
