We’ve been out in the desert for the last couple of days at Wadi Rum, Jordan. Here’s just a few of the many photos I took. Well worth the visit. A bit sore today after riding camels for a couple of hours yesterday though!

There were no nets, just pontoons. Not sure the exact reason, but it could be to stop people floating off into the wider lake. It could also be Hilton marking their territory. There are definitely no sharks in the lake :D

The view over the Dead Sea from the stunning new Hilton Resort! Today I swam in the sea, covered myself in the mud and relaxed by the pool. One more thing ticked off the bucket list! A great way to mark the half way point on our trip.

We're just over the six month mark and just short of half way. We get back to Australia on May 1st. I think I will throw my luggage away I will be so sick of seeing it!

We arrived into Antalya (Turkey) last night just in time to see the sunset from our balcony - with bonus planes coming in to land!

We flew to Bodrum yesterday. It feels very much like the Greek Islands here, which really is no surprise since it’s only a twenty minute ferry ride to Kos.

I can say the same about Turkey. Last year there was no one here, this year there are short lines at the major attractions, but it’s a great time to visit. Have not felt unsafe here at all.
