No. it's a Qantas "enhancement" (TM).

Qantas doesn't care, for so long as total demand is exceeding total supply (due to artificial constraints imposed by the Australian govt / CL members) QF planes are reasonably full with pax paying high prices.

It's super-easy to just ring the number, and they book it for you fee-free if you say the website does not work. Takes 60 seconds if you know your dates/times. DO NOT perservere with the website!

Yes, I can second India as requiring cash still. Even a couple of the major historic sites only took cash and fairly significant sums at that (by local standards) eg 600 rupees for foreign tourist entry. However, there is an extensive ATM network and none of them that I used took a local fee...

Sorry, not sure. But the S$27.50 list price seems standard, and that is still very cheap. Correction: I just checked my receipt. It was S$27.00 list, with 20% off if buy 2! That is insane.

Tanqueray 1L at S$27.50 or buy two for 10% off - sensational price! It's the proper stuff at 47%.

Only downside is you are flying Qantas.
