I stayed at Hilton Canary Wharf twice pre Covid...small OK Exec lounge, rooms on small side...quite far from LHR...took 2 hours by road in morning peak hour! I hate to think how much a room cost now! On a side note: My daughter just sent me a photo of a $35 ramen she had in London last...

Found the official answer after more searching. A *A Gold member flying Sq J can bring one guest into Silver Kris Business lounge at Sin who is travelling on same flight. Note 8 in attached image.

That's what I thought but recently my brother was travelling in Sq J and is also Va Plat. He took his friend who was travelling in Y on same flight to the KF Gold lounge at Sin but was told to go to the SilverKris lounge...so hence my Q.

Just to clarify. I will be flying Sq J and am *A Gold with Air Canada as well. In Sin, can I bring my son (travelling in Y on same flight) into the Silver Kris Lounge or is it the Kris Flyer Gold lounge for both of us?

I went for Hilton Aspire Amex to get Hilton Diamond status as I stay in a lot of Hilton chain hotels around the world....room upgrade, free b'fast and Exec lounge access (if there is one) are great benefits imo. Diamond helps secure early / late checkout but no guarantees of course. The US$550...

Agree 100% with keeping the receipts till rhe points have landed! Last promo, was not credited the 10K FB pts after 4 weeks....fortunately kept all the receipts....then noticed the FB card no. was not attached to week 3s shop...with the receipt, aubmitted a claim for week 3 pts and also the 10...

Not an issue as long as the onboard power / USB ports work!

3 schools of thought here about the front toilet on a 737 and we are going round in circles now: 1. Y pax cannot use the J toilet 2. Y pax can use the J toilet 3. Y pax can use the J toilet under certain circumstances Maybe rather than locking the J toilet, we should lock this thread now.... ;)

I'm sure most of us know how to lock / unlock the bathroom by now. I personally find all this shenanigans a bit boorish...if Im a J pax, I have no issue with an elderly pax, child or any Y pax blocked by the trolley from using the J toilet.
