Who on AFF are the cruise gurus and what are your preferred cruise lines and ships?

Vacations to go do have little flags you can click on which will give you estimates in other countries currency, one of which is AUD, but then they don't seem to quote taxes like a lot of USA sites, and you get a bit of disappointment when you see it wasn't quite as cheap as you were thinking...

    Westpac Black Altitude Bonus points.

So what are people going for, the QFF points of the Altitude? I've never really used Altitude before and while the 100k QFF points would put me well above the 280K QF points required for a OW J RTW redemption I'm wondering if people see some good transfer options with the Altitude points?

Higher taxes in QFF redemptions . .

Is it also a case that certain jurisdictions don't allow fuel surcharges, or high fuel surcharges to be applied.... So Philippines and HKG are good locations to fly out of in this respect... Dom Y redemptions can be good value if you have left it late or popular times and its like double or...

    Life after Lifetime Gold

You would think, just like when an AA customer enters a QF lounge that it gets charged back to AA, that if a customer flies QF but credits to AA that AA would require some payment from QF for those AA miles and so it should at least show up on the books if not down to the level of individual...

Ok, well i was planning to transit between Osaka and Beijing or Shanghai around that time using QF points so perhaps i might be able to make it 10 June... 9.20am CX from KIX gets in about 12.20 so not sure when the festivities are planned to commence (unless i flew in the night before) and...

    SYD-AUH in F

I've flown them twice in Apartments, i thought the one in April or so this year the food was slightly less good thant he previous one, like a few ingredients seemed to have been repeated in several dishes (ie desserts)... Flying out of Melbourne the IFE also went out for about an hour and after...

Does flying Cathay Dragon out of Hong Kong still count as One World for lounge access? Even if you say fly Cathay Pacific into HKG?

    Life after Lifetime Gold

Yes at only 1000 or SCs no need for me to lose sleep pondering what to do when i never hit Lifetime Gold... :) Maybe there is a drop off because most people hitting it are golden oldies and having reached their goal they stop travelling so much and put their zimmer frames away?? ;) I'm...

Machu Picchu & S America Planning + India?

Hmmm, so its pretty much a fact that if you enter Chile through anywhere else than SCL you don't have to pay the reciprocity fee??? It would put me off a bit returning there, but if there was a way to avoid it i probably still have a few travel plans in Chile one day...
