I was on QF619, BNE-MEL and got stuck 2m from gate for hour and a half. Funny thing is we were 30 minutes late departing BrisVegas because "somebody" forgot to load the luggage. Had we been on time we would have made the gate and disenbarked happily. Didn't see or hear anything of the storm but...

Received my replacement gold tag today, in fact they sent me two. Haven't managed to use new system yet as my work uses one booking reference for two seperate persons departing BNE for MEL and it seems to throw the system meaning an encounter with a human to sort it out.

My SG tag was removed with force on yesterday's flight MEL-BNE. Due to the industrial strength bungy cord the attachment point to the bag was ripped out as well thus destroying my waterproof duffle bag. I wonder if that explains the 30 minute wait for our luggage? Will call Qantas on Monday...
