If it was sold by Qantas as a codeshare with a Qantas flight number then no but I'm not sure if it was ticketed as an MH flight. Check your ticket number and if it starts with 232 (MAS ticket number) you're in luck.

A bit ho hum. Hard case that opens into two halves but there are pockets on each side to slip stuff into. I'm not entirely sold on the hard case. Great that it doesn't get squished but also takes up a bit of space (which I often tend to not have a lot of) in my carry on.

Great trip report! I'm definitely thinking seriously about one of these flights now. I'd love to do an Antarctic cruise as well down the track but the flight might be something I could do with my Dad later in the year - he's 76 and pretty spritely but maybe not at those operating temperatures...
