Bit of QF thread, but does anybody know of any cards that earn VA points for ATO, as the Virgin cards that are issued by Citi do not earn any, the Westpac Altitude will let you transfer points to Velocity but are there any other with direct earn?

Tried recently for 2 seats on a QF(J) sector SE Asia to Syd for sector as part of 1W 280 trip, there were over 8 revenue seats for sale each flight but I was unable to have P1 team manage to get them "released" even though there were "Business Saver" available.

My opinion would be that it was the different payment gateway, interesting aside is the T&C for the Citi Select card state no payments for ATO, but I still get them?

Would be interesting if anybody has a US issued card that credits AA miles and that also does not have a foreign exchange fee included, if they could pay ATO with it to see how it goes and also to check the FOREX RATE that the card issuer use, as may be a convenient way to accumulate miles/...
