Well, I went into that already cringing but in the end I thought it was great. Bonus points for not having any cricketers (except for the couple of kids at the end) or 'celebrities'.

Will make people at least look, and maybe more than usual, listen.

Although I'm not sure our overseas friends will be able to understand all the accents!

Good idea and I liked it. Always smart to refresh the message/video I reckon. Was quite long though and unless I missed it, seemed not to have the ACT anywhere?

I think it's rather Air NZ inspired, without the flair or fun, but that's not always a bad thing.

I think it's a tad too long

but I do think it's so much better than the current tired one which I scream at internally every time I see it.

It's fresh and interesting to see what the next location will be and so on and the music is pretty good too.

All in all I like it. don't love it, but yes it's far better than the cringeworthy cricket one of a few summers back

I liked it, showed off more than Melb and Syd, celebs etc. Sorry didn't like the music, to restful on an important announcement and i think would get on my nerves after the 5th run through. Two thumbs up for the trucky

Good to know! As a Tasmanian originally I tend to get rather sensitive to certain locations getting left out.

I like it, it's innovative and moving. Pleased to hear that CBR will be getting a mention. I could just imagine a talking kangaroo on a paddle board on Lake Burly Griffin.

I agree with RooFlyer above....the accents will be difficult for a lot of NESB passengers...like the video though

Its too long, even as a promo. I switched off about 2mins and I ALWAYS pay attention to the safety brief.

Can I also say... and I know Im being a cough... I was sitting here thinking whats with the guys without teeth. "The common man/aussie" has to have missing teeth? I don't get it.

I do like the background music.

I agree with most of the avove comments. I like it, but am glad that the actual versions used onboard will be a little bit shorter. I also like the idea of showing some different locations for different planes.

First thought was that it was going to show 'the real Australia' as being only the Bush, which I find annoying. But that thankfully changed.
Then I wondered how on earth the seat-belt truckie would fit into a Y seat. Not, I reckon.

But all up a nice change.

Couple of other things I noted - the demonstration of brace positions; the brace with arms-folded and rest head against seat in front of you had nothing in front of them, so that's got potential to confuse infrequent flyers. I'm also assuming there's lots of cases of people losing phones down seats if that is now part of the security briefing!?

What if the truckie is an avid reader of AFF and knows the tricks on how to fly at the pointy end when he travels?! Then all your wondering is moot.
