QF6115 Gold Coast - Brisbane flight

As luck would have it my QF BNE-SYD flight is arriving from OOL! :shock:

Anyone know what may have happened? It is supposed to be one of the ex-BA 767's.

No prizes for guessing if it is on time.

Last night QF636 from MEL to BNE diverted to OOL. It was schedule to finish the trip but stopped there.

Seems to be a hold up in BNE as it landed in OOL more than three hours after departing MEL.

There appear to be only two of the ZX's operating at them moment, G and E.

E (my nemesis) was on DRW today. G was the one that stopped at OOL last night.

Thats all that is left, ZXC operated her last service on 25/7 QF490

It seems it was awaiting a slot time at BNE and had to land at OOL due to Fuel issues.

Until September, BNE is closed between Midnight and 5am for runway works.

I heard a rumour that the ghost of a certain ex-Senator was rushing to OOL to see if he could hop on a quick flight up to BNE.

The issue was not mechanical. So Qantas has had at least 18 hours to reposition aircraft in BNE and the aircraft is delayed. :shock:

At this stage due to depart ~30 minutes late.

For those that do not understand the JohnK effect here is another data point.
