Yet they've still retained a 380 service the entire time (added another in fact). MEL, despite launching the A380 now won't see them past October 2026 having lost both SIN (nee-DXB) and LAX (even though they were only scheduling two a week). I'm conscious that past actions don't indicate future intent, however it seems like they're doing alright commercially with just shunting us via SYD or PER on 737s, or SIN on the single 330 service.
MEL may yet see the 350, however I very much doubt it will be the ULH fitted with F - I personally wouldn't be surprised if they consolidate and run Dreamliners exclusively once they see off the 330's, should they opt for the -10. As another user suggested, there's still Emirates F, but you'd wonder how for long that would be sustained before perhaps a lounge rationalisation were on the cards. Melbourne Airport may well be a basket case in terms of their terminal redevelopment, but were some space that was amenable (and cheap) offered, it wouldn't surprise me if they did something similar to AKL.
