What cheeses me off

Or if you’re in a store and it’s ‘online pricing only’.

‘so if i order this on line, I can get the cheaper price… I can click and collect at this store?’

‘that’s right’

‘so you have to go collect it, package it, and then give it to me?’

‘yes’

‘you can’t just give it to me now at the sale price?’

‘no’

I went to Mitre 10 a couple of weeks ago to get some chainsaw oil. The online price was $2 or so cheaper. I mentioned that at checkout, and they said, yes we can give it you for that, looked it up and no problems I was charged the online price.

Bought a packet of Brazil nuts at Aldi, nearly $43/kg. Got them home and decantered into a jar. After moving the jar in and out of the cupboard a few times the nuts have settled to reveal around 25-40% of the packet being broken nut pieces. Premium price charged for C-grade product. Shame Aldi.

This is what they purport to sell.

I dislike my local Aldi. I tried to return an international power adapter. I had a photo of the receipt not the actual paper copy. Staff member said I had to go back to the actual Aldi store I bought it from so they could look up the purchase on their system. When I went to the store that is on my way home from work, they glanced at photo and processed the refund. The deviousness of the first store was WCMO.
