Just finished S3 of Tehran on Apple TV (which I’d coincidentally started watching prior to the events of last Saturday). Rather apt content given current world affairs. Excellent viewing building upon the first two seasons.

That’s my thoughts about the majority of TV series on the streaming services - they just go for at least 2 episodes more than they should have.

‘Gone’ Stan - excellent British psychological thriller.
Headmaster of posh private school (so cold and controlling has ice in his veins) comes home to kind wife gone and body later found near the school. The excellent Evelyn Myles from ‘Keeping Faith’ is the lead detective

Yes it does. But the ending is somewhat annoying, just leaving open for next series.

Just finished Smoke on Apple TV. A slow burn (pun unintended) that works well as a psychological thriller with a few good twists and turns, but as a crime drama, didn’t quite live up to its potential. Still, a good watch and another masterful performance from Taron Egerton.
