Here's a challenge for your Sunday afternoon.

2 pax, leaving CAI 28th Oct (can do 27th, or later), arriving BNE or MCY by 9am 5th November. Seems most of the ex-CAI specials have gone the way of the dodo but I'm finding bits and pieces still hanging about.

Minimum premium economy, preferably business. Can do Y for short hops (<4hr). Have various points available (QF, AA, Amex, SQ, Westpac) which can be used to to supplement paid fare (if needed to join bits up).

We are completely flexible regarding routing, happy to go via whatever continent you find fit. I wanted to start a DONE4 from there, to break the holiday into 2 parts, but OW has ceased that offering from Egypt. Very happy to make it a return flight, and will use the return to jump off next years' trip.

The key thing I am looking for is VALUE, rather than a straight $ cost (though if it's going above $5k per pax then I want it to have a real "zing" factor!). If you can find first at a great (relative price) in first class, let's go. Business, same deal. If it has a stopover somewhere interesting, so much the better. Slight preference for Oneworld but am flexible if the savings make up for it.

Happy to pay up to $300 finders fee (can be increased if you find an absolute gem - feel free to PM). My current backup plan is CAI-KUL on RJ for $1173 return J, then KUL-BNE MH $900 J ... but that feels a bit boring.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

... but that feels a bit boring.
You're not interested in boring, then?

FWIW, this is what I'm doing next month for CAI-CBR:

1. CAI-LHR-IST-CMB (UA award, MS/TK, business, 35,000 miles);

2. CMB-KUL-BKK (MH paid Y, $250-ish);

3. BKK-SIN-CBR (UA award, SQ, business, paid 30,000 miles, but now enhanced to 50,000).

Why not?
