Given that the Grand Final is always in Sydney, if the prices weren't already high and tickets scarce, they probably will be now ex-TSV (let alone the towns around it).

Took my mother in law to the cemetery today, to clean/flowers ect at dad in laws grave.

Had to laugh when I noticed she's using a duty free Johnnie Walker Blue bag freebie as a hand bag. It's what all the Yayas are using this season :)

On the Brissy news tonight there was mention that Qantas had put on 6 extra planes TSV - SYD and they sold out in minutes. The Cowboys have chartered planes as well !!!! :)

What's a Yaya?

Yep. Greek grandma, she's mid 80s.

I did a clean out that included a few leather bags that you get with some duty free purchases. Didn't expect her to take it to church.

On car servicing, the best thing I did was find a mechanic that comes to me. A friend of a very good friend of mine, he came highly recommended. Because he comes to my home he shows me things on the car that need attention or soon will. I would stake my reputation recommending this guy to anybody in ADL. He doesn't advertise, all word of mouth. The fact he is a fellow Stonewaller is a bonus
Buzz can you PM his details please - my car has just finished the fixed

A friend boarded his international flight at 5.40am and was still sitting on the tarmac at 7.20. In economy.

I told him that if he listened to me and collected/used points, he could be sitting in his QF pjs, drinking booze but nooooooo, no one listens to me.

Well that’s good. Award seats are getting harder to come by.
