For point 2, you can use checkmytrip.com, plug in your booking number, and you will be able to see the alternate booking number used by Etihad. Works great for Japan Air, American Airlines etc, who use a different PNR for the booking

Certainly is taking passengers, Qantaslink flights 6713/6714. As my easlier posts noted, it happens rarely but it does happen.

For those who are interested QF713, a Dash 8-200 is currently operating Brisbane to Sydney, returning to Brisbane as QF714. Interesting to note it is only taking 30 & 20 minutes longer for each leg compared to a jet respectively.

Yes, as long as you buy the Flexi fares when purchasing the 2 for 1 on the credit card. I have used Platinum free upgrades as well as points. Very good value when used on coast to coast services.
