Justwent and found the email ticket - It has a heading in it saying Bangkok to Hobart Ticket and the email is from Emirates rather than Qantas but only the BKK-SYD leg is with a EK flight number and it then says connecting to QF flight number. Must be how they put together and ticket award...

Forgot to mention that the flights are all booked on the 1 ticket, not separate bookings.
