AFF QANTAS Club Corporate Scheme

You won't necessarily need the card itself. You should be fine as long as the paperwork is processed accordingly. Your status will print on your BP and will grant you access. In my partners case the paperwork was submitted and processed overnight by AFF. She had no dramas accessing the J lounge at BNE international. Straitman can answer your question with more detail.

Random corp scheme question
Does anyone review and or approve corp membership applications before they are processed at qantas if you pay and enter scheme number on line? Do they pass through your corp scheme admin

Just found this page through google

They seriously have the scheme number on the net (they probably aren't the only one)
Whats stopping anyone from using it??

I don't need to renew as my company still has it and I have another 18 months left. Just interesting now blatantly public it is. Don't know their rates are but if they are better than my company in a few years may be looking to switch lol

Hi

Would anyone know the length of time it takes from obtaining gold membership with AFF to then purchasing a corporate QC membership?

I would like to wait until after Qantas' announcement this Thurs Feb 27th before doing so just to ensure that there are no drastic changes to the program. But I fly out from Perth to LA on Sat 29 Mar and would hope that I had membership card etc by then. Dont mind paying for express delivery but is that an option with corporate membership?
It should be less than a week from gold AFF to QP membership. The QP card will be a week or two from then. I believe you can expedite the card delivery at a cost, but I don't think you will need to.

There are a few organisations who have made their number public. I was directed to this site a while back after receiving subscription email.

As for what's stopping someone from using the numbers. Probably the potential risk of having the membership cancelled and the loss of $390/$690 if your employment or membership of said business or organisation, was found to be non-existent. Logically there would be a vetting process.

I used to be in a corporate scheme, and renewed it once after leaving the company. At the next renewal time, QF very specifically asked if I was entitled to use that particular scheme and intimated that they would check. That is when I joined/renewed via AFF.

Deemo77,

I will ensure that you get all the info you need later today. You will have plenty of time to get the card so there is no need to worry.
