ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

is Altitude black still a go? because I just noticed a line in the breakdown (in statements) stating
"ADDED FEES, GOVERNMENT AND INTEREST CHARGES'

I have yet to put through for BAS but wondering if that will not earn.

Ok in January scheps. I used 3 different Westpac cards plus a smaller amount on Woolies EDRCC. Altitude Black gets those Lovely J rides across Australia on Virgin and pointy end flights on SQ.

The ATO has about $20 billion outstanding in debts.I guess those people don't know about FF points.
We are heading for Los Angeles on Saturday.
Brisbane was warm and dry yesterday.
 
oh right, that's probably enough points for a return trip to Neptune and back for 2 in F.
Weather is nice right now, not so cold anymore. Heading into a drought though.
 
Cove, I have found the points conversion on altitude black, to flights, to be pretty appalling. Or is it that the $ you are paying the ATO to be similarly appalling?
 
Oh while you mention suites, it is not possible to book bne- say LHR in suites? because of the 333.

No not necessarily - call and ask - all KF call centre staff understand that a mixed class redemption cannot be done online - they will possibly / probably honour the 15% disc - I have MEL-SIN in F and SIN-TPE in J redemption for Mar booked with call centre and they honoured the 15% disc - I cannot guarantee it but you should be ok.

FWIW I have never had a negative response to a request for the 15% disc for any booking that cannot be completed online.

Thanks mate. That's good to know. Would be nice if they just let us do it online. I imagine just look up as if two separate legs first for availability then call quickly ? :)

And I guess just have to ask them how many points as no way to work out exactly.

Holidays are over - back to regaining those points I burnt upgrading the four of us into F for our flight to LAX. Cheers ATO :cool:

Is that new that you can't do it online? The only KF redemption I've done was J-saver PER-SIN, F-saver SIN-FRA which I had no problems doing online?
