Maybe not news to some people but I discovered that there is a Chairman's Lounge in the BNE domestic terminal. A QF staffer came on to my flight yesterday and asked the J cabin if anyone was missing a pair of glasses in a box. Nobody answered. He then said to an FA that they had been found in the Chairman's Lounge.....

No idea where it is!

I am fairly sure it overlooks the main checkin area and entry is roughly opposite gate 22. Never been in there myself but have seen a few MP's heading in there.

This is my belief as well, behind the frosted glass door......

I have passed it many times. I think entrance is between gate 22 and gate 23.

Correct – the entrance is tucked away in the middle of an otherwise plain wall... there's a timber finish around the entryway, and a frosted glass door marked 'private' with a motion sensor above it.

Re: the curtains – so many people see them when checking in, though few realise why they're there...

It's in the old QP location and overlooks checkin, very different to the Sydney CL which is more of a First Lounge clone by comparison.

Thanks everyone. I'll keep an eye out for the mysterious door next time :).

I guess the fact that it is nothing special, compared with SYD, is similar to the FLounge in BNE Int. More of a WP/OWE lounge than a first class lounge.

One day Brisbane, one day!!

I thought it was pretty special in respect the food and drink offerings as well as service.

It's been the CL for well over 10 years.

I had many an ale there in the QP (as it was) - and the catering was indeed rather special even back then (when compared to this century's QP offerings).
