My partner and I both got the offer and neither of us have bought any miles this year (bought and shared plenty last year though).

I manage 4 accounts, 2 for my parents and 1 for my husband 1 for myself. We have purchased points this year on all accounts. My husband and I both got the offer but my parents didn't. Hmmmm, not sure why but we are planning to buy a few more points

No offer for me :(

I guess I should bait them with a small purchase.

For this offer there is max 50K bonus - is that per transaction or per member with this offer?

Same here I think. Although it may not be in time to trigger the current offer.

Likely not, but hopefully it'll trigger a christmas offer :)

Same here. I joined (and my rellies all joined!) about 6 months ago but haven't made any transactions yet, so no offers for us. I should have taken up the share offer *sigh* I think I might have to bite the bullet though, just buy 1000 and see if that triggers something.

Same boat as you. Signed up around a month ago, I've received no offers and when going through to buy points there is no bonus noted.

Let me know how you go. I'm hoping buying some points will trigger something, if not I think I may give them a call.

I'm the same here. Mainly an AA user who has had a couple of short European segments credited to USDM but would be interested in a 50K+50K bonus offer. Have other people had success at triggering offers by buying say 1,000 points?

The AA/US merger will happen soon and those US points will be morphing into AA points, so it might be a good situation for yourself since you are an AA user usually anyway.

Its quite common to see a small purchase rewarded with an offer soon after.

Just thought I'd let you all know that there is no way to trigger the November promotion, unless you received the original email. I emailed USDM earlier this week asking why/how I could activate the promotion on my account, this was their response:

[TD="width: 100%"][h=1][/h]Dear Mr. Powell,

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately there is not an option to change your account for the current November Buy/Gift miles promotion. Please continue to monitor the US Airways website as Points.com runs promotions frequently.

We appreciate your participation in the Dividend Miles program.

Sincerely,

Kathy Cromweld

This might be a stupid question but iv been really busy and not had time to read all the relevant threads, but if I buy 100,000 USDM now, will they just become 100,000 AA miles when the merger happens?

Yes, unless the CEOs renege completely on their promise.
