Hi All,

Probably a simple question - but ...

Looking to book a MASA (JASA) MEL-KNX.

Via EF I can see U availability to either DRW or BME but - obviously - only X onward to KNX. (Obviously, since it appears TL flights are all Y).
If I use the online QF award engine, it will only offer me classic Y award ALL of the way.

I know it's going to be potentially "patchy" trying to book this as a MASA even if it was straight forward U - or X - all of the way ... but can someone advise which would be the best way to approach this so that I can get an ASA MEL-KNX (really looking to grab those SCs). Also, do the TL flights have to be booked as the QF codeshare in order to get the ASA?

Am I required to book this as two separate ASAs: one into U, one into X or can this be done on the one ticket? If on the one, is there an issue trying to get this then converted to a MASA?

Coming back will be less of a problem as we'll book a JASA BME-MEL.

Regards,

BD

Since xASAs can only be booked via telephone these days, I suggest you call them up and tell the CSR what you want and take it from there. You'd be asking for a sector in Uniform and a sector in Xray.

Thanks Mr Orange,

My preference would be - given documented issues - to tell the CSR what I want rather than rely on the half-knowledge/denials of some reported CSRs, which is why I'm appealing to the greater knowledge at what/how here first.
