Figured a thread just for talking about the show (Recipe to Riches - Channel Ten, Tuesdays 20:30) and what will make it through to store shelves and be good value (in terms of 50 points per purchase) would be a good idea.

I just turned the show off.

Great concept but poorly casted, loose structure and a bit budget (clearly Woolies skimped a bit!).

I predict it won't rate well.

I'm watching #gabo. It's the final and I get to watch them make food I can't eat. :D

I'm persevering, despite agreeing with you. I was hoping it'd be a bit more like Dragons Den, with more emphasis on the ideas, followed by help to perfect the recipe, and then a good product to try in stores, but it's really tacky! That said, I wouldn't mind winning a Woolies gift card and/or working out if the winning product this week will be good value for points.

Connie's Croquettes won, they look like they could be tasty and reasonably priced. They're in select stores and online for a week. Can't see them online yet though.

Thanks for starting the thread. I'm not going to be watching the show or using facebook but the 50 bonus points sound interesting.

I would appreciate it if some of the members could post the products which will earn the 50 bonus points, once we figure out how this section of the promotion works. Some members of our family got the email.

So... Do you get 50 points for every "item" or "unit" of purchase?

Or is it only 50 points for every "purchase"?

Ie. if I buy 4 units do I get 200 points..... Or do I need to make 4 x single unit purchases to receive the 200 points.

My T&Cs aren't too clear

For the next 7 days that'll be Connie's Croquettes.

Mine are the same and I'm anticipating a fight to get the points if I end up with say, purchasing 4 units in the same transaction. I remember in the Macro promotions I ended up doing separate transactions to be safe, but when I got bored of that, it did work fine with multiple units.

Fine print at the end of the show said they'd be available from 00.01 tomorrow.

So what do you think we're searching for? Croquette?

Seems pretty clear to me

Bag 50 bonus points^ every time you buy a Recipe to Riches product in-store or online. Look out for the Recipe to Riches signs in-store and enjoy a delicious new creation each week

50 points every time I buy 'A' nominated product.

Can someone explain to me where the heck I'm meant to find this item?

Im in my local woolies shop now, after also doing a search of it and looking in the frozen and fridge section...

No luck...

Just after a rrp.
