Is this routing OK for QF connecting to SQ connecting to CX?

PER-SIN QF77 (Dep 09:50, Arr 15:20)
SIN-CGK SQ966 (Dep 18:40, Arr 19:25)
CGK-HKG CX798 (Dep 00:10) so check in time for this flight would be from 9pm, the same day as the flight leaves at 00:10 the next day.

There are 2 other options for the SQ flight from SIN-CGK, SQ962 (Dep 17:20, Arr 18:05), SQ968 (Dep 21:55, Arr 22:40)

I would be booking each sector separately with each airline.

Probably just bring hand carry, as i'm not sure if the bags will make it.

What do you guys think?

Is there a reason why you have CGK in there? or more to the point, is there any cost savings to be had flying SIN-HKG direct?
I suppose I wouldn't have questioned if it was OW or *A all the way even when going via CGK, but with going across both I'm just wondering what the FF advantage is?

If checking in with QF in PER, I'm pretty sure QF interlines with SQ so it probably would work.
