ATO (tax office) payments by credit card

Don't stop me now!
Just logged on to topcashback.co.uk and it looks like a starthere.com.au site !

Unless you have bills over here that need paying or you can open a UK investment account, you're out of luck..... if you fit any of that criteria, then sure, PM me!
What about online retailers like ASOS (which I access via starthere already). Based in the UK though who knows where their physical inventory location is.

They don't sell the gift cards you require for this AFAIK, plus there's much more points to be made if you can do it via Tesco and get the bonus Clubcard points for every 50 quids worth of cards you buy ;)

I know I'm late to this thread and this is probably old hat to most on here, but do you ever get over the excitement of seeing those points hit your account after paying a big tax bill? Just did my first one this week and points have hit the account. Yippee! I'm off!
Cheers,
Peter

We flew on BA in First today and yes it was a really good sleeper flight where we landed at LHR at 5am and we were home in an hour. Peter it is very nice to get something back from all of our ATO payments. By the way rows 1 and two are the best seats on the BA 747 in my opinion.

Welcome back!

Thanks Flashback we have AFL games on pay tv but no Eagles nor Dockers this weekend.
We have Hawthorn vs Collingwood and Serfty would want me to support Hawthorn.
I appear to be favoured with a back tax from a capital return being deemed an unfranked dividend. Lucky it is only money that the ATO want.

A nose of a 747 is pretty fantastic......unless of course you're sitting on a refurb'd Q 747.....4 across just doesn't work.

Yep, one of my favourite flights was in the nose of a 747 JAL, only J but beat F on BA a year or so later. Will never forget the excitement of our then young daughters in the first row looking back over their seats.

Friends of ours received a large employment payout and decided to splurge on a world trip in F with their 2 kids. The boy looked through the curtain and said it just looked so crowded and cramped back there. Nope, he wasn't looking at Y, he was looking at J class. I think the trip ruined him for any normal travel after that.

A few months ago by parents did Thai F CDG-BKK then Thai C (highest cabin) BKK-PER and said much the same.. that it felt like economy, even though they were in J (having just come off an F flight).

Some would say that's just mean. Part of the pleasure of F is surely knowing the other end and deriving great pleasure from enjoying the contrast, whereas if you start in F you just have a lifetime of dissapointment to look forward to.

One quick question - has anyone successfully preloaded a Westpac Altitude Black with more than their credit limit prior to a big purchase?

do it all the time, and with big amounts too. only hiccup is only able to do $50K limit per trans with the ATO, but then you can do another straight away anyway. hehehehe............and about the excitement question...NEVER

Now that we are at 2400 posts I can say that the ATO thread has been quite a help. We are in London free of tax bills. But wait is that VAT 20%?
