Now that most banks have capped there CC to X$ per month, what is the best way to go now? Or is there a bank that hasn't "capped" that we can get QFFpoints.

If you're after a 'big 4' linked card, ANZ plat is uncapped (iirc).

Earns of 0.5 on visa and 1.5 on Amex per dollar spend.

NAB is capped at $100k/month (Amex+Visa combo). If you want a non-Amex then the Bankwest QF Platinum MC is currently one of the best bank-offered cards.

Not sure where your info is from bobe, I run a NAB Amex, Amex Ultimate, EDR and a Citbank Visa, minimum earn is 1:1 and none of these are capped.

Agree. I just got one of these. It combines the Woolworths cared and the 28 degrees card nicely.

Used to be uncapped - good point. Though it's effectively uncapped for the majority of people, except those who are pushing business transactions through it

Nearly - the Bankwest card doesn't give an extra point per $1 spent on QF purchases whereas the Woolworths card does. Though having an American Express QF Discovery ($0 fee) card just for QF purchases covers that.

Amex ultimate 3points/$ spent on QF website.
Whether its worth the $450 fee is another question.

Note that ANZ Plat Amex is 1.5 points per dollar with an extra point for QF spend for $295 annual fee.

Indeed, I just binned my Amex Ultimate and have replaced it with the ANZ card. I didn't like the changes to the points earn that Amex brought in.

Did you use up your last free flight? I have 3 cards and because we are off to London shortly these flights will have to be a bit later from Amex Ultimate. I have scheduled the account payoff a week early so the very last of the ATO points get transferred.

Did you use up your last free flight?

Yes, I did. I got it in about a month before card anniversary and then closed it down a week before the annual fee hit. I had no problem with transfer of final points, as I had a direct debit in place to pay the monthly bill, so I told Amex to leave that in place to pay off the final account, but to ensure the annual fee did not get applied since the bill due date was after the card anniversary. They had no problems with that. My points transferred on the usual date.

Have a loaded Westpac Black Altitude tonight. My points warehouse there is moving fast towards two commas. Woolies EDRCC is a great personal card and Citi Select Visa for business things (but not ATO). I am back warehousing at Citi (non Qantas points)
now that the dust has settled on ATO issues.
