What happens with this and those other airlines for those people fortunate (blessed) enough to be Op Up'd ?
Toasted Ciabatta Meat Ball Sandwich with Fontina and Pesto
A tasty refreshment offering of veal meatballs, melted fontina cheese and tomato sauce served in toasted ciabatta. This dish is best enjoyed with a Chardonnay.
Should have been done years ago - and hopefully the pilot goes well. It would allow more people to get what they want, and reduces wastage. Win win for everyone.
Perhaps opt-in for the tasting menu ~72 hours in advance and therefore open it up to all routes?![]()
This sounds like a good service once the teething problems get sorted... if expanded, it will reduce problems like the one below occuring.

When you travel F so much, do you ever get sick of the tasting menu, or is it a must have every single time?
I logged onto Qantas, found the link to select Q-eats (sorry, I do not have enough posts to post the link) was asked for my booking code, email address, first & surname and then was directed to a page with the options on the menu. After selecting the duck leg, I got a message that my order had been noted.Where does it show this on your booking? I thought it was only available 72 hours before departure?
As in moving to a different seat? I'm hoping to snag Emerald City LAX-BNE.Any idea what happens with those playing the J lottery?

More like moving from row 19 or something to 11/12/13. I presume Bob W meant LAX-MEL?As in upgrading from Y to J.
Seems a US company is providing the service. Is there any talk of making this "from" OZ also? Seems all of the options are "to" OZ only.
