Hilton Perth availability

I wanted to book a room in July at Perth's Hilton. There is no availability until the end of the year. Are they closing for refurb or is there a system error?

Most likely a glitch.

They've just rebuilt their main restaurant. Not likely to then close the place down!

Particularly with the prices they are getting for a night (and yes I'm guilty of paying it too).

I had trouble booking with them for August too. I tried to book for the July 5th weekend in March but the prices were crazy (>$450 per night for the basic room), but when I looked in mid April it had gone back down to around $180.

Probably a glitch I'd say!

$450 not unusual in Perth: its the mining booooooommm

Looking at the rooms I'd rather stay at Crown Metropol for the same price (if not cheaper). Add an extra $50 pp and get access to club 9 lounge.
