FF status not showing on boarding pass

My son (3 years old) is a QFF silver/OW ruby. Just did a online check in for him, and his status is FF Bronze under the service information section of the boarding pass. His FF number is correct.

Any ideas?

This is his first flight after reaching silver.
 
End April is the membership year.

He reached silver in March. It says silver in his QF webpage under the account summary tab.
 
I suggest calling QF, have the QFF number removed and then re-inserted - then try OLCI again (assuming it's a domestic flight).

Definitely sounds like a glitch, give the FF desk a call and they should sort it out.
 
Does happen, have had it before whilst I was PS and it was showing NB status. Other BP's have been fine, seems like a glitch.

Had similar but just on printed BPs ... Online (including OLCI) glowed Gold but printed was painted Silver. This carried on for a couple of weeks after attaining Gold.

Glitch seems to have sorted itself now ... will be interesting to see what happens when I hit Plat on this trip and whether the glitch reappears briefly.

For the OP - other than the 3 yo might get upset when they read their BP, there shouldn't be any other issues.

Have had the same issue after reaching WP pretty quickly. Did OLCI and the BP was showing SG status. Called the WP service desk and the CSA checked their system and I was still showing as a PS!!

He had reservations go through all of my forward bookings and reset the status by removing and re-entering my FQTV.

I would recommend having it fixed as whatever status is showing on their internal system will also be the status printed on the manifest which is used by the cabin crew for service.
 
Isn't another risk of having the wrong membership level the potential of the silver status bonus for the ff points not being credited?

Not according to QFFC. The issue isn't with the account (and therefore the calculation of status bonus when the flight is credited) but what's printed/shown on the BP ... In fact, I've just checked one of my flights which printed Silver - the Bonus Points were calculated as Gold.

Same happened to me (booked ticket when NB, checked in as Gold) and was told I would have to pay extra baggage charges (two checked bags, instead of NB allowance of one)!. This was waived with some consternation however as my Gold card was clearly current and QF site showing Gold, just not that flight. Allowed up to lounge, where Lounge dragon sorted it. Although not before telling me off for inputting my number wrongly when I had made the booking?! Ah, ok, so the flight is showing up in my account and my FF number is correctly printed on my boarding pass, but I've made a mistake? Riiiiiight....
 
Recently Gold, Mrpippy's boarding pass when we checked in at Singapore last night showed Silver. I pointed it out at checkin and after a few minutes of button pressing a new boarding pass was issued. He needed it to show gold for lounge access as his new gold card arrived 2 days after we left for our month long trip.

I just assumed it was because the booking was made when he was silver.

It has happened to me when I went from Gold to Platinum.

If the QFF number is in the booking then it will pick up the old status. As serfty mentions have them remove the QFF number and re-insert to pick up new status.
