Apart from AFF, following Liverpool FC (& the Western Sydney Wanderers!!) is another of my "hobbies", which Mrs 8803 does not understand, yet she appreciated the comforts of The Pier in HKG prior to CX101 from Gate 69 last week...
If there are any fellow Reds out there in AFF land, fares from SYD to MEL on match day, Wed 24/7/13, have already skyrocketed. The same probably applies to anybody else who needs to be in MEL that day. I was trackng a late morning departure at $130 all day until I last checked around 5pm. Just checked again after sale email sent, & minimum Red e-Deals are $200. I doubt loads would have jumped that quickly. Just after midnight this morning, VA sent out their sale email. Management at QF are really on the ball, knowing there will be a convergence of LFC supporters from across the country into MEL for this match, albeit a friendly game. I haven't checked fares from outside SYD.

...& because we're all into acronyms here, & before everybody starts scratching their heads & searching the sticky, YNWA wlll only likely be understood by Liverpool fans. YNWA = You'll Never Walk Alone, by Gerry & the Pacemakers, & Liverpool's club song.
