Earning SC on EK and MAS

Can someone please explain to me if I will earn SC for QFF on any EK flight?

What about a MAS flight from SIN-KUL?

I don't see SC specifically mentioned in the airline earning table for EK. They do mention points though. Can't make heads or tails of the MAS earning table. LOL. Why so many conditions for MAS?

If its an EK flight number you will earn points only.

As for the MH earning table, some would argue protectionism on the side of QF, but all the conditions and squiggles are hardly limited to the MH section of the table...

Only SCs if flying QF code on EK metal,otherwise points only.
On MH, Yes dependent on fare class. The table is complex because some routes earn less points.

Is there anyway to find out the MAS booking class before I book the ticket? It just says Business Promo.

Will I earn SC on these routes on MAS? I don't understand the airline earning table.

You earn points on ALL MH routes (in an eligible booking class).
Basically their is High rates and Low Rates
Low Rates apply to Aus/NZ-Malaysia-UK/Europe and v.v.
High Rates apply to everything else.

I think the MH website has a hidden booking code (you need to use View Source to see it)
Otherwise when the ticket is booked you will get a Booking Class near the fare rules, the first letter is the relevant one.

I would expect all Business tickets to earn.

Its will tell you the fare basis which is the fare bucket, likely to be starting with a Z I suspect.
