I've been a long time Gold member, never had enough status points to make it to Platinum. Just logged in to my account to check if points had been credited from a recent flight and noticed that my status now read "Platinum" with reassessment July 31 2014. Is this a mistake or have I had the upgrade of my life?

How many SC do you have this membership year? What sort of forward bookings do you have?

How close were you to making platinum or do you reside on the Gold Coast?

There's been a few random bump ups to gold (thewinchester), maybe they have bumped a few to platinum!

Congratz mate! upgrade of the century!!

You are so funny....

It is funny as they both popped up around the same time, your complaint about making platinum too easy then seeing they are just randomly giving it away for free.
