Hi All

Just wondering about QF107 (SYD-JFK) which my in-laws are flying on later in the year.

I realise that they will be clearing customs etc in LAX so I'm wondering about upgrades & exit row seats.

1. If I put in for a points upgrade from Y - J for QF107, assuming that they get approved, will they get J for the whole SYD-LAX-JFK flight?

2. If I purchase them exit row seats, will they get them for the whole SYD-LAX-JFK flight?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply.

2. If the equipment does not change then yes.

With regards to this, QF have published the following info for their flight.

Total duration:

Aircraft type:
Boeing 747-400

So I'm assuming that there is no equipment change as no other aircraft is listed. Am I correct?

Thanks for the reply.

Whilst yes, AFAIK it's a B747 all the way through, if a flight has an equip change half way through, the equip running the first sector will be listed as the equip running all the way through. (That's how a B737 was listed as the equip for QF25 MEL-LAX for a while there)
