Not on local A320s, the issue being the recent focus on their employment and legality of operating domestic flights with them.
Well yes... and I guess you're going to tell me some contract precludes them from using a foreign-based crew on A320's?![]()
The Skybed II's are too heavy for the floor in the A330s I believe.
Will it get AVOD and same domestic product as other A330's or we get another variation?
Best they dont put that 2x3x2 J in either!!!!
No. Skybed MK I were too heavy for the early domestic A330-200's, but are fine on later ones and on the -300's that were ordered international runs. However the Skybed is slightly narrower than those on the A380/747 to fit the A330 and Qantas does not have a Skybed MKII version for the A330's.
For the time being a/c coming from Jetstar will remain with the same seat config, with Qantas covers, because that is the domestic config. New seats, type yet unannounced will go in when Qantas starts its A330 seat replacement program next year.
Is this JQ's youngest A330? It was only delivered late 2011.
If MEL-DPS reverts to A320 will SYD-DPS also end up an A320?
With no 788's... wonder what JQ route is getting cut back to allow for this?

I just hope they remove the 'orange' colours from inside and pretty much any trace of JQ from it before using it on QF
I have a feeling it'll be used for International rather than Dom.
Are -QPA, B and C differently configured in any way??
No they are not
Not right, they are certified with a lower MTOW, meaning the load config will be less.
EBS returned to service yesterday operating BNE PER.
I was always under the understanding that -QPD onwards differed to the other 3, I remember -QPD arrived possibly after E as it was undergoing additional testing with Airbus but I vaguely recall it was brake related.
Also other forums are reporting -EBE and -EBQ are in BNE being prepared for transfer to QF I have my doubts, can anyone confirm?
