The Bear essentials of Safety (video) - much better than QF and Cricket!

I believe it all has to do with corporate culture, this is why NZ brings out great flight safety video's. QF management has too many hang ups to make a good inflight video.

Its more what you would expect from Virgin here, more trying to be an upstart attention seeker rather than the established old boy sort of thing...

Something tells me the budget for Air NZs safety videos is a bit higher than most airlines!

Great to see that they so regularly change the videos & keep them interesting - would have to result in more people paying attention!

I heard the new QF vid is coming in the next few days... Air nz ones are awesome though!!

I flew transcon today and there is a new QF safety video. It's very mundane but I find it a little more enjoyable as it uses QF staff from different departments (baggage, maintenance, call centre etc.) to tell the safety story. Still the same captain but.

That sounds like the type of safety video that AA were doing when i was on their planes mid year last year... From pilots to mechanics to baggage personnel... I liked that one as well, but haven't seen the QF one...
