They have just announced the cashcards on facebook.

Interestingly the link takes you to a page that advises to update your profile - I am not sure if I have just missed it previously but there is now a third tab in your profile for payment cards. It had an existing Amex card for me but no option to add one of these cash cards.

I still have my original Qantas membership card from way back when I joined in the '90s. It was white... wonder if it would pass as a P1 card.. ;)

(that is, if the white is in fact P1).

That's been there for a while, it's so you can manage cards you've saved when making a booking.

Cheers - I hadn't noticed it before.

Having re-read the announcement page I note that the announcement said to change your email settings so you would be advised when it was available.

I simply submitted no changed to my profile, so at least I'll be in a list of people who have changed their details recently (even though I haven't) and hopefully they'll include me in an early round.

My mother still uses her white membership card as well. She'll be rapt to have status.

What about something other than plastic? George Clooney got a metal card when he hit 10 million miles in Up in the Air.
