Man charged with slapping baby on flight

Methinks he might be in a world of hurt. Although, I do believe the posters on FT may have forgotten the basic principles of innocent until proven guilty.

The guy must have had a really bad day for that to happen.
 
According to the media, so take this with a grain of salt, he was served alcohol after the slap. Surely not! Wouldn't he have been put into some kind of security seat?

I think slapping a baby either happens, or it doesn't. There are no circumstances that defend it. And there were witnesses and injuries. Not sure that innocent until proven guilty is all that relevant here.

I am trying to work out what he is alleged to have said - "shut that n----- baby up"? A racial slur perhaps?

I can't imagine my reaction if someone had done that to my son although I suspect he wouldn't have gotten close enough to slap him...

Yes. Racial word that is despised by all black people. I suspect AFF auto rules will block the word.
